Fishing

“Most of the world is covered by water. A fishermans job is simple: Pick out the best parts.” – Charles Waterman

The Vail Valley offers nothing short of incredible fishing. Whether in a boat hitting various drift lines in the shadow of a tall Ponderosa Pine, or allowing the cool waters to massage your body as you wade from shore, the rivers and streams here will deliver what you seek.

"Testimonials"

At age 73, I had the pleasure of having my daughter fulfill a bucket list dream of fly-fishing on the Colorado River. She chose Sage Adventures to supply the raft, equipment and guide. The trip was thrilling and the scenery was breathtaking. Thanks to Colin, our guide, I actually caught 6 trout and landed 4 . He was very patient with me (a novice) and taught me the many different aspects of fly-fishing. Colin was also knowledgeable about the history of the area we visited. I highly recommend the experience I had with Colin at Sage.
