Requirements:
Knowing how and being a strong swimmer is mandatory, previous rafting experience is not required but is recommended. All participants must be healthy and injury free; paddling class IV rapids require strength.
Pickup Locations For Transportation
- Bachelor Gulch Group Circle: For Ritz-Carlton and Snowcloud guests
- Vail Transportation Center: For guests staying in Vail Village
- West Lionshead Plaza: For guests staying in Lionshead
- Grand Hyatt: For all Grand Hyatt and Cascade VillageGuests
- The Elk Lot: For all Avon, Beaver Creek, Bachelor Gulch & Edwards Guests
Meeting Location:
We pick up locally in Vail from the Vail Transportation Center, West Lionshead Plaza and the Grand Hyatt. All Avon and and Beaver Creek Guests will be asked to meet us at the Elk Lot. We depart from the “Elk Lot” at the base of Beaver Creek. We will be going straight to the river where there are no restrooms or changing rooms. Wear your bathing suit under your regular clothing so you can change easily into wetsuits at the rivers edge.
Duration:
The duration of the rafting trip is 4 Hours Total, 2 hours on water (+/- depending on water flow)
Private Rafts are available…
Private raft trips may be available for an additional $400.00. Some parties will not qualify. Please call us at 970-476-3700. Daily 8am-5pm.
