About Our Class IV Eagle River Tours

Bigtime action on our local alpine river! The continuous nature of this class IV whitewater has your attention the whole time. Arguably some of the best whitewater in the state while in season. Ability to swim, and fitness required. Get directions here.

Meeting Location: We pick up locally in Vail from the Vail Transportation Center, West Lionshead Plaza and the Grand Hyatt. All Avon and and Beaver Creek Guests will be asked to meet us at the Elk Lot.

We depart from the “Elk Lot” at the base of Beaver Creek. We will be going straight to the river where there are no restrooms or changing rooms. Wear your bathing suit under your regular clothing so you can change easily into wetsuits at the rivers edge.

Requirements: Knowing how and being a strong swimmer is mandatory, previous rafting experience is not required but is recommended. All participants must be healthy and injury free; paddling class IV rapids require strength.

Duration:

The duration of the rafting trip is 4 Hours Total, 2 hours on water (+/- depending on water flow)

Private raft trips may be available for an additional $400.00. Some parties will not qualify. Please call us at 970-476-3700. Daily 8am-5pm.

Trips do fill up – we recommend booking in advance!
