Half-Day Ducky Trips on the Colorado River
About Our Class III Ducky Colorado River
Can you handle being the navigator of your very own Ducky along the Class III Colorado River? Enjoy the sights of Colorado while paddling yourself and a friend down the Colorado River, guided by our exceptional staff. Comparable to a splashy class III, this Vail rafting adventure puts you right in the middle of the rapids!
Laugh with your buddy (or to yourself if going solo!) as you learn to lean into the splash and go with the flow (literally!).
Meeting Location:
Drive to Sage’s Colorado River outpost in Dotsero, and embark on river trip from there. You will check in, get some gear, and jump in a shuttle that takes you up the river. You will then float back down to the outpost in Dotsero. The exact meet-up location for your adventure and directions will be included in your confirmation email.
Private Rafts are available
The cost is an additional $400.00. Please call our sales office to add a private guide to your reservation after check out. 970-476-3700. Daily 8am-5pm.

We require full payment when you make your reservation. If you must cancel your reservation and we are notified at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled meet time, we will refund your payment, less 10%, resulting in a 90% refund. Cancelling a reservation the same day it was booked is still subject to fees. Rescheduling a reservation must be done outside of 48 hours and is subject to availability and a rebooking fee. If you cancel for any reason and we are notified less than 48 hours prior to your scheduled meet time, we cannot refund any portion of the payment. All sales inside 48 hours are final and non-refundable / non-transferable. Sage Outdoor Adventures cannot be held responsible for and will not issue refunds for personal inconveniences, health related issues, family emergencies, injuries, winter road conditions, flight delays / cancellations, public transportation delays, traffic jams/accidents, or inclement weather. When you make your reservation, we are reserving a space for you and now turning away other potential guests.
